SUMMARY
Manage on-time delivery of purchased parts to support manufacturing achievement of customer delivery. This position will be the primary interface between JLG Production and the supply base. This position reports to the Tactical Purchasing Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage overall supply base performance to support the requirement of the production schedule.
- Follow up and expedite as required to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage on-time delivery performance of the supply base by resolving constraints within supply base or internal to JLG. Identify root cause and corrective actions for non-performance.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies related to quantity variances.
- Manage the supply base to support material availability for MPS changes.
- Contribute to, and monitor planning and procurement parameters.
- Manage on-time delivery of supply base by utilizing EDI.
- Be the primary day-to-day contact person with the supply base on the scheduling and delivery of all purchased parts in support of scheduled production.
- Provide feedback to strategic buyer on supplier performance for new or expired contract negotiations as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3 plus years of related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Prior experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
