SUMMARY


The Senior HR Manager will be an active partner with the operations leadership team for a plant site, business function or business unit. The Senior HR Manager will provide HR generalist support to the location and will also be responsible for the development of a staff of HR professionals. This position is responsible for developing local HR strategy that will support the goals of operations and align with the greater segment and corporate Human Resource strategic plans.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Frequent interaction with the Leadership Team to strategically plan the business

  2. Design and implement a comprehensive employee, labor relations, and organizational capability strategy that supports the business plan

  3. Serve as a catalyst for culture change by ensuring that department strategies, tactics, and practices are aligned with organization's behaviors and values

  4. Recognize, articulate, and help shape the company's culture by facilitating change, crafting culture, valuing culture, and personalizing culture (helping employees find meaning in their work, managing work/life choices, and encouraging innovation)

  5. Responsible for developing talent, shaping the organization, fostering communication, and monitoring effectiveness and understanding of reward systems

  6. Contribute to the success of the business by serving the value chain, interpreting social context, articulating the value proposition, and leveraging business technology

  7. Administer the day-to-day work of managing people inside the organization by implementing workplace practices in partnership with the Access HR Services and Corporate Shared Services teams.

  8. Maintain an environment of continuous improvement and collaboration across the site, segment and organization.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

  • 10-plus years Human Resources experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Minimum of 5 years plant Human Resource experience in a manufacturing environment with multiple sites and employee populations exceeding 500

  • PHR/SPHR certification

  • Master's degree

  • Broad and detailed knowledge in all areas of staffing to include experienced recruitment, sourcing, and overall staffing management in order to develop effective recruiting strategies

  • Strong business acumen and proven experience working with leadership teams in corporate setting.

  • Ability to work in high volume, fast-paced environment

  • Must demonstrate strong team orientation skill set and superior communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and consultative skills

  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Internet) and working knowledge of internet recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
